Thanks Laurie! Just wanted to say Congrats to all of you. Even if you didn't get into this Nursing semester, you have came so far, so congrats to you too and don't get discouraged, keep applying :) Never be intimidated or feel like you aren't good enough. I have heard negative comments on other threads and I want to say to you all that we all have different strengths and weaknesses and we all have different reasons as to why we want to be nurses. Always be true to your dreams. (Even if you are a late bloomer like me :) ) Looking forward to meeting you all!

I am so distraught...there are people getting calls off the waitlist. One girl received a call before Thanksgiving....I just have a bad feeling. I just don't understand tho. I have all my classes done...and good grades. I called the school and she said I shouldn't retake the Teas because its a good score but I just don't get it...

I called and I they said the first round of calls they make will be on Friday...thats if they have any calls to make and then the next set of calls will be in the beginning of January if they have any to make (like if someone fails their class they are in). Then we will have to take dosage right away... Ugh....I just don't have a good feeling. She said some semesters they don't even pull anyone from the wait list. I think this wait list may be worse then waiting for the first letter....

Oh good, I am glad you followed up with that. I am really stressing out. I really hope I get pulled off this wait list. Friends keeps telling me..."you will, you will" but I just can't get my hopes up because if I get my final letter saying not accepted at this time...I am going to be devastated... Anyways....I hope we both get in! It will be so nice to know someone and we could study together :) Our kids can play while we study study study! LOL

Trust me....I think all of us on the waiting list are stressing out! If we do get called off the waiting list...its going to be a mad rush to get things done. I am trying to keep busy and keep my mind off thinking about it non stop...but its hard!!

lucky, yes i was in micro over the summer! who is this? being waitlisted kind of stinks but i guess it is better then a flat no...but it stinks because it doesn't give any reasons to why i am waitlisted and why i didn't get in...i am trying to think about my back up plan but i really don't want to put money out on retaking things if i don't have to...i wish it would have said...based on your blah blah, you are wait listed...that way i could plan on what to retake... anyhoo... for the wait listed people... we should know something after dec. 2. they will make calls out that week and then send letters after fall semester is over. in the past they said that they used up to 8 people from the wait list and then in other semesters they didn't use anyone from the wait list. so everyones guess would just be a guess...if you are wait listed and get a call for a seat, let us know :) good luck!

Hi There, Has anyone ever been wait listed for CCBC nursing program and then received a call about a seat opening up for them? I just got my letter from CCBC and it said I was wait listed but I was really wondering if that means anything...like how often does someone who has been put on wait list actually get offered a seat?

Thank you LuckyMe4, that was very sweet. I won't give up, so you shouldn't either...guess we will be sweating it out next semester together again. That first day I found out I didn't get in, I was so upset but now I am trying to create my backup plan...

Who knows how many people are waitlisted?? There are so many rumors and such about it...I try to just take one day at a time now... I am hoping so much that I get a call!! Good luck to you!

Hey there, yes my letter had the same typo...I am really hoping that I get a call and I get in...Are you finished all your pre reqs? I am! So I am hoping that will put me before the people who are waitlisted that still have classes to finish...But who knows...I thought I had a pretty good chance of getting in before because my grades arent bad and I had a pretty nice teas score but who knows...Anyways, I have my fingers and everything else crossed!! This is for the girls without seat fees... When you get your letter...Does your letter tell you that you have been put on a wait list? I got mine today and it says I have been waitlisted and I will have a final letter in December...Its probably just a general letter that they send to everyone who gets rejected but I was just wondering...

Well I really want to see the reason I didn't get a seat fee....I have everything completed...all good grades, good Teas grade...I just don't get it...I finished everything! Ahhh what am I going to do now! Now I have to wait another year... After I waited 3 years. Well I don't want to be a total debby downer, so good job to all you ladies who got a seat fee. I don't think I could go through this again if I don't get in...I have waited 3 years for this...another year and wait would drive me nuts...but I know I am not a quitter so I would apply again... Please post as soon as someone hears something :) Good luck!!
