  1. I'm not a Maine nurse, but, I do know that the majority of healthcare facilities are making a BSN a requirement. Many ADN schools are starting to change there program or contract out to BSN programs. I'm working on my BSN through Thomas Edison State College on line program. Its a great program and very convenient. As long as you have a laptop, you can work on your school work from anywhere. Good luck to you :) Laura T
  2. Hi Tasha, I was prior military and have the GI Bill. I am working on my RN to BSN through Thomas Edison State College. Once you send your GI Bill form to the school all that was required of me was to register for the course. I have never received a bill. The classes are approx. 365.00 per credit. At this time I am registered in 2 classes (6 credits) and did not have to pay for anything. Your best bet is to contact the office that pertains to GI Bills, or go on line to www.GIBILL.com and there will be alot of information. Good luck to you and your venture in receiving your BSN.
