I would like to know whether NMC takes into consideration the annual leave time period into the experience of a candidate. Or are they asking for specific hours to be done in a certain time period for calculating the experience?

What is the scope for nurses in Australia? Are they able to develop their career there?

I am a qualified nurse from India and I am going to apply for the registration with NMC. But I found in their site that the person should be 17 years and 6 months old when they had started their nursing course. I have started my BSC in Nursing when I was 17 years and 2 months. I have cleared all the other requirements they have mentioned. So am I not qualified to process my application?

So Is it possible in UK to gain registration with an experience as a care assistant?

I am a qualified registered nurse in India and i have done my registration after my Bsc degree in Nursing in march 2009. After a few months of practice in India I came to UK on January 2010 as a student for doing NVQ in health and social care. Now am currently working in a nursing home as a health care worker. Because of the lack of experience in India can I be able to go for an onp programme with an acceptable IELTS test score? Whether my experience in UK will be considered in NMC? Also if I do ONP for longer period can i register with NMC? If not, what should I do now to get an NMC registration? Is there any course that leads to NMC registration which I can do?
