Hey I just took my nclex this morning...I was told that if you try to re-register w/Pearson vue, and you get to the credit card screen, you did not pass. But if a pop-up appears saying to contact your Board of Nursing then you passed. I got the pop-up but I feel nauseated :/

Hi, I am actually from Cincinnati. My mom is a nursing supervisor @ UC hospital and from what I know, they are currently on a hiring freeze. Not to be discouraging, but I hear the jobs are pretty scarce out there. It is a beatiful city though with lots to see and do :)

Nursing judgement is part of the nursing process..you use your knowledge and experience to assess the situation. So yes, it is of course allowed within your scope of practice

Pain is what the patient says it is. They do not come to the ER for rehab. I personally feel horrible giving someone narcotics when it's obvious they are addicited, but it is unfortuantely, the way it works

I just graduated from nursing school w/my ADN and I have never been more scared!! I was already concerned with the availability of jobs in my area (tampa) because it's already inundated with nurses and there are a lot of nursing schools in the area. I am getting ready to take my boards in the next few weeks and was planning to visit some family in San Diego and look for a job @ the same time...but all these stories of how hard it is to find a job have me shaking in my boots!! I don't have much experience aside from my clinicals and I am beyond frustrated with position descriptions that say "1 + years of experience required". There has been alot of terrific advice given and I certainly will try it!
