  1. ...no problem, you pay about $270 per semester for ATI, a few weeks into the semester you will receive the ATI books that you can use to study for exams and board exam to get your RN license...during the semester you will have a few assignments due in order to be able to take the course exams...
  2. ...one of your orientation days will be with the Elsevier people, you will need your codes for ebooks on that day, they will walk you through entering all the codes into evolve so you can access your books online...your orientation schedule should have a day and time for everything you need and where and what time to be there...
  3. ...you should not need your skills pack by orientation, but at least have it prior to your first scheduled lab day...you will receive a list of all of the items included in your skills pack for first semester, go through it to make sure you are not missing anything, if you are, you will need to let the lab supervisor know..also, your skills pack has supplies for all four semesters, keep track of it...there will be a few items that are not included in the skills packs, you will get some from the lab supervisor and will need to purchase some from a medical supply store...
  4. ...if your orientation is anything like ours was, than no, you do not..
  5. ...you are welcome, in my opinion, I think you have plenty of time between 03 July and 15 July to take one or two more tests to improve your score...again, just my opinion, I would try to do whatever it takes to improve my score, even if it is just a point or two...good luck...
  6. ...not sure when the deadline is, but if you have time, review the material on the Evolve website (it tells you what type of questions you missed, and it provides material for review), and take it again. Regardless of how many support/BSN classes you already have, the HESI score is the "tie breaker"...
  7. ...there are two different test, A and B. If you took the HESI once, and signed up to take it again, the test will not be the same, you will take the form B, different questions...
  8. ...Hello, can I ask you where are you applying that all you need is English and math? I'm not sure if the test is different for a different state, but the HESI English and math is just basic, college level, some medical reading and the math is pretty basic as well. A lot of the conversions were pretty straight forward, how many mls in a L, how many ft in a km, also word problems with conversions, as well as weight and temperature. Good luck...
  9. ...congratulations!!! Enjoy your summer! Would you please email me the 35 page study guide as well? I would really appreciate it! [email protected] Thank you!!!
  10. I agree with the post above, also check your spelling and grammar, very important...
  11. ...1 more week to go!...
  12. ...hey, I called El Central Thursday afternoon and spoke with the department of nursing (admissions), also, if you call the dean of nursing and it goes to her voicemail, there is a message that states the same ?...
  13. ...exactly, lol...but we all know that the phone calls will start on the 31st, lol...
  14. ...the acceptance letters will be mailed out on the 31st of October, and there will be a 7 day grace period before we should start calling, per the nursing department, grrr, lol...
  15. ...2 more weeks to go!...
  16. ...3 more weeks to go!...
  17. ...4 more weeks to go!...
  18. ...5 more weeks to go!...
  19. ...6 more weeks to go!...
  20. ...I agree, the people reviewing the packets are very serious about the required vaccinations. Also, a lot of applicants are not very detail oriented, from reading prior blogs, a lot of applications have been disqualified for minor things. It is crazy, I hope we did not miss anything. And with less prereqs and more support classes, let's hope the cut off points won't be to high...
  21. ...hmmm, who did you hear that from, and what is their definition of a ton?...well, lol, let's hope some are not very detail oriented, lol...
  22. ...since the point system has been changed, I really hope that not too many people applied for the spring:(...
  23. ...I know, same here, it is crazy what people get disqualified for...
