Regis ABSN for Spring 2013 start
I just sent in my deposit! I have a few prerequisites left to complete - and with relocating, it's going to be a hectic fall! Thankfully the courses are online. Is anybody taking the first 8 week HCE? Looking forward to meeting everybody! Bridgette

CU-Denver Nursing Program
I actually haven't started my pre-reqs yet. I just made the decision I want to pursue a nursing career! Graduated 3 years ago with a BS in Accounting. I know the two are completely different, but it's taken me this long to realize I am very interested in healthcare and want to help people. I figure I should ask people who have gone through the same application experience to make sure I don't miss anything. From what I've researched, the program at UC Denver is great (though the difficulty of admission intimidating). I've also looked at Regis' program. Most of the accelerated programs in Boston are directy entry to Master's and require at least 3-4 years. I also LOVE Colorado and there are some great hospitals in Denver. Any advice/knowledge on applying to these programs is very welcome :)

CU-Denver Nursing Program
Thanks, Sand Dollar! I've read a lot of the other posts and as I am just getting started on this process, am sure I'll have other questions. Are you in the program or currently applying?

CU-Denver Nursing Program
Hi! I am (currently an accountant and) looking into nursing. One of those realizations that I love helping people and am very interested in health care. I have to complete my prerequisite courses and am wondering - do you think UC Denver weighs prereqs taken at community colleges less than other colleges/universities?
