Ok, so I just got hired as a CNA at UCLA solely based on the merits of passing my med surge clinical rotations in my nursing program at CSULB. No CNA certification needed. Does that answer questions?

Why did you have to print and fill out 3 of the BCII 8016 forms? As far as I can see we only need one for the live scan. What am I missing?

I was wondering the same thing about dress. This might seem like a stupid question but is -----'s Office 501 E. 27th St #205 at the Memorial Medical Center the location of the orientation? Or is it on CSULB campus?

Where have you all been getting your health care provider American Heart Association CPR classes done at? Can you do it online?

Is trimester the 2 or 3 year?

If the letters are sent out on the 8th does that mean there will be a list out on that date as well? Or the 7th even?

Got the call from the Nursing dept and I called the University to make sure I was good. And it was all good.

Got a call from ---- with the news. They were able to correct the budget situation and therefore able to accept transfer students.

So my letter of (not)acceptance stated that I was not accepted because CSUs are not taking lower division transfer students due to the budget. This is contradictory to what they told us at our interviews. Is anybody else in the same boat as me?

Just a US history class and a film class for the art requirement. Pretty lame!!

So, bad news for me, good for the rest of you. I received a letter today from CSULB saying that I am not accepted into the university. I thought, noooooo first, then whyyyyy! Well I'm currently taking two transfer classes for general admission along with my last prereq for nursing. Those two transfer classes, I found in the fine print, were supposed to be completed by this last summer for consideration in spring. I feel upset to say the least. I got a letter from the nursing program for interviews, went, and am now waiting for the reply. Lets say they do accept me, can the nursing program have any sway on general admissions? Can they pull any strings to get me in? Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? Please help. Thanks.

I asked specifically after our interviews were finished how the budget that just got passed would impact spring 2011 and she said that CSULB was already guaranteed to accept 90 students, including transfer students, for spring 2011. That is what they told our group of 8. Sounded pretty clear to me.
