Did studying for CEN improve your pe rformance. In ed?

Thanks alot!! I mostly want to completeCENto expand my knowledge. I think the hospital ia providing the trauma course.

What is the best online course to prepare you for the CEN? Are there courses available to give you hands on training with equipment outside of what ACLS provides? Like assisting doctors with chest tube, Trach care, entubation care... Etc..... I am making a lateral move from a non trauma to a trauma ER. They are going to provide 6-8 weeks orientation. Plus trauma cert. I have one month before I start orientation. I was thinking I could start studying for my CEN during that time. My current ED is very basic and our doctors are new. We are considered the "test" hospital for doctors. We don't have a cath lab, renal floor, etc.... Just one med-surge and one ICU. Plus OB. So most of our patients get shipped out to our sister hospital or our competitor. I been there for 2 yrs. I also have med-surge oncology experience.
