  1. Wow where are you working? Can I apply as a janitor?
  2. Hi Maiday, Sounds interesting. What is your time commitment as a PCA? And what is the typical pay for that position, if you don't mind sharing?
  3. Wow, things sound really flooded for new grad RNs right now. Does anyone know if the situation is the same for new grad advanced practice nurses?
  4. Hi Christy, What are new grads typically getting for their first jobs in Portland?
  5. Touche, 2ndwind. I don't live in the US, but I know the general job market is still suffering there. I guess I was referring specifically to the nursing job market, which, as I understand it (I'm not yet a nurse, but working on it), is typically a low-supply, high-demand industry.
  6. Hi Blurr, I saw that you posted this a few years ago. I've been looking into that exact program and event went to an info session at Columbia when I was in NYC last. Sounds like a solid program. Just wondering if you ended up going and what you thought? Thanks! Matt
  7. Hi DizzyLizzy, Just curious... you mention that the job market sucks where you are. Where is that?
  8. Hi ghillbert, Any idea of the average length of this process? And do you know if it's just as easy to work in New Zealand as a US-trained RN? Thanks, Matt
  9. Hi Mclovin (kudos) / Mike, Was just searching this forum to learn about people's experiences moving to Oz as a US-trained RN. I see that you started this thread in 2008, and was wondering how it all ended up? Cheers! Matt
