  1. I am really shocked to see that so many people are quick to think that anyone going to a for profit school is a lazy mediocre student. Where I live in southern Ga there is only 1 asn program. There are over four hundred applicants each session trying to get in with 60 slots available. I have a 3.5 gpa and no chance of getting in. This is not the best gpa but I am far from being a lazy student. I now have to consider the high cost of a for profit education because my husband is active duty military and we dont know how much longer we will be in this area. If paying 50 grand to fnish my degree means I have my degree before we move to our next duty station I will take it.
  2. There should be a disc that comes with each of those books, check them out they have a ton of games on them to help you study too.
  3. Ok I sat down with the registrar and this is how she explained it to me. You must be taking degree level classes in English, Anatomy and microbiology etc. A&P at the right level is 2130. The easiest way I found to do this is enroll in the surgical tech degree. A lot of the basic requirements for both are the same. If you have any specifics on classes, shoot me an email and I will give you the specifics on each one I went over with her.
  4. I was told at the Liberty campus that about a 150 always started trying to get in, but by the time they had to apply the majority had changed majors and it would end up being about fifty left to apply, and I think they accept 35. Anatomy isnt hard, jsut remember to study, its all memorization.
  5. I started out in the Lpn program at Savannah Tech. After you finish all your pre reqs you can apply to the program. I have been told by the advisors you need a minimum of a 3.0 gpa but the higher the better chance you have of getting in.
  6. I am currently taking courses from Savannah Tech. I spoke to the registrar from CCGA and they accept our credits but they transfer at a lower level, however it will still fulfill the requirements. I still make sure every quarter to call and verify with her that the classes are acceptable to htem though.
