I believe, it was by Monday, August 1. I sent it in on Wednesday...I'm overwhelmed w/ joy with this acceptance.

By God's grace, I got accepted into the program as well. I received a call yesterday. I can't contain my excitement. I was almost certain I would be looked over for admission this year, but I was wrong. I hope anyone left on the wait list is as blessed. Good luck to you all. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

congrats! If you don't mind me asking, how did they contact you, via phone, email, or mail? did they tell you, your position on the wait list or how long it is? I'm just curious and waiting impatiently as July 30th is quickly approaching and I want nothing but to get some good news. thanks in advance! and congratulations again!

Hi Everyone, I received a letter today, which unfortunately says I've been "Wait listed" and basically to stay tuned until July 30, in case any slots get opened. I 'll be keeping my fingers crossed and hope for the best but at the same time I won't sit around sulking about this decision. Has anyone else receives such notice or know of the process of being on the waiting list??? Congrats to all accepted!

That's incredible, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Thank you for sharing. I'm impatiently waiting to go home and check my mail. I have a backup plan brewing just in case--- for a county college admission, but definitely praying. My GPA was below 3.0 although I did have a 90+ on HESI, but Who knows for sure.. All the best to everyone.

I appreciate your honest Coast2coast- no offense taken here. I've been out of school for 2 years now and just wanted to get back in the swing of things ASAP before it got too late. I'll look into taking some class over to increase my GPA. But in the mean time, I'm sure there are some programs that accepts GPA's below 3.0. I'll just have to try my luck with them.

Great insights- thank you. I was aware of UMDNJ 3.0 criteria, but didn't realize how rigid it was. I guess I shouldn't waste my money on the application forms. I chose those two school because I wanted to start in Spring 2010. Are you aware of other programs starting around that time. I planned on applying to other schools for different semesters. Any suggestions?

Hi Everyone, I desperately need your advice. Currently, I'm in the process of Applying to NYU and UMDNJ accelerated programs for the Spring 2010 term . Like some folks, I've a less than adequate GPA ( 2.95), but I'm still hopeful at my chances of getting admission. Call me naive... I worked two yrs after graduating in the health/fitness field- so I've gained some experiences. My grades in the pre-reqs. are as follow: Chemistry-B, Anatomy B, physiology C, microbiology b+, statistics C+, nutrition - c+ and plan to take developmental psych in Winter term. For people in the program- what do you think my chances are? Should I not apply because of my GPA?? and what can i do to even be considered? Thanks in advance for all your advice.
