  1. I actually emailed her last week because I needed to know whether or not I should take my A&P II this summer, and that would affect my current job. So she emailed me yesterday to let me know. I'm assuming they've made all of the decisions by now...hopefully you will hear something very soon :)
  2. Well unfortunately I was not accepted. Samantha emailed me, she said I was a "strong applicant" but they could only accept 48 students. Good luck to everyone else!
  3. I assume they will be sending them out via snail mail haha. And hopefully they will try to send them out before the holiday weekend, meaning maybe we will get them next week?
  4. I spoke with Samantha last week. She said final decisions were being made this week. Has anyone heard?
  5. Has anyone called this week for another update? We're past the 4 week mark now! As far as selection criteria, I know they strongly consider your pre-requisite grades, HESI score and recommendations.
  6. Oh, yeah I mean I thought it was more like 500...but you think 300?
  7. Who said there were 300 applicants?
  8. I am currently waiting to hear back for the Fall cohort. Do you know who you spoke to when you called the other day? I have a friend that is currently in the program and she said that 4-6 weeks was somewhat accurate for them getting back to everyone.
  9. I know the schedule is basically full-time (Monday-Friday 8-5 type of deal, with one day at clinicals) It all depends on what schedule you get, since it can definitely vary. But I think that's basically what it's like. I know there are other posts on this website that discuss that. As far as the safety in Jersey City, it's not exactly one of the safest areas in NJ, but the campus is actually really nice. When I visited for the orientation I parked at an on-site parking garage, and I felt pretty safe. I mean I wouldnt suggest walking by yourself late at night, but chances are if you make it into the program hopefully most of your classes will be during the day and also you'll have friends that you make in the program to walk with, etc. I have friends that live in JC, and although there is always the chance of your car getting broken into or getting mugged in any city, it's really not THAT bad of an area and if you're smart about it you'll be fine :)
  10. This Friday it will have only been three weeks. They said 4-6 weeks after the end of the deadline. I'm going to assume it will be more towards 6 weeks.
  11. Okay well since they're just updating your information now it seems, hopefully you will get an email soon that says your documents have been uploaded. Did you send your entire application at the same time?
  12. Yeah I received the email in the beginning of May. They took forever to update my information, but it's all there now. If I were you I'd just try to login to the site anyway. Your user name are as follows: Username: First Name Last Name Password: First Name Last Name http://web.njcu.edu/it/filemanager/
  13. So does anyone know how many applications they received in the end?
  14. Yeah I have, but lily0602 was saying on Friday she hadn't received it, so I was just checking to see if she was able to figure that out.
  15. Did you ever receive your email and figure all of that out?
