  1. I just graduated and will sit for my NP boards at the end of January, 2020. I put everything on the line to get through school and money is unbearably tight. Can I work part-time as an RN on the side after I pass boards? (I live in Kansas and already emailed the KSBON. They haven’t responded yet.) What would you recommend for a new grad?
  2. I have been a nurse for 20 years, the last five of which I have been teaching in both PN and RN programs. Recently, I have decided to return to floor nursing (teaching, with a master's doesn't pay very well.) and I am considering the night shift. I am wondering if any of you seasoned nurses can advise me on how night shifts differ, how you cope with the sleep issue, and whether or not you think the pay is worth it. Thank you!
  3. I've worked three years as a nurse educator, have a Master's degree in Nurse Education and make nowhere near what you quoted above for educators. I have two jobs and am having a hard time making ends meet.
