  1. Just wondering for those who are out of state. Who signed up for on campus living?
  2. I'm sorry to hear about that UC but at least you know what you are doing now and can move on. I've been waiting to hear from USF and still no news. I am stuck in this limbo and it is making me crazy. I come home everyday and the first thing i check is the mail..Has anyone heard from USF or received anything via mail?!
  3. Wow congrats. UCLover, im nervous too. Waiting sucks. Good luck to everyone.
  4. Hi. I was just wondering. Is the composite score the same as the adjusted individual total score. Thanks Congrats who got into the program.
  5. I emailed USF yesterday and said that notifications will be another 2-3 weeks. UCLOVER, i was accepted into another program too and dont want to put too much effort into it as well until I hear back from USF. The waiting is the hardest part.
  6. Anne. Sure I would love to meet up. Umm whats your name on FB. Or you can add me my name is Beverly Briones :)
  7. Anne, Im from San Francisco. Where from CA are you from? Did you send in your acceptance for NYU and are you still waiting from other schools?
  8. Anne, I'm from San Francisco. Where are you from CA? Did you send in your acceptance yet and are you still waiting on other schools? Are you looking for an apartment?
  9. Beeny. Thanks for the info. It was really helpful. Im thinking of attending NYU but making such a big move from CA is kind of scary and I dont even know where to start. I was thinking about staying in the dorms my first semester to get familiar with the surroundings and the city then move into an apartment. But the cost is kind of swaying me to just look for an apartment. Just wondering if anyone attending next year in need of a roomate. Thanks!
  10. nope there is no interview for USF. i heard we are supposed to hear back by the end of the month. ugghhh i really hate all these waiting. good luck to everyone.
  11. Thanks, I made the corrections to my FAFSA just in case but Ill give the office a call. Im actually from California. So I have no idea of any of the surroundings areas or even the first place to look. I heard craigslist is the best place to start and Ive been looking at some websites and the village voice is another good place as well. But I was debating on dorming as well since I dont know the area as well and I need roommates because I definitely cannot afford a place by myself.
  12. i also applied to NYU as a last minute decision, so when i did my fafsa at the beginning of this year i didnt add NYU. i made a correction to my form and added NYU, is this how you go about it? does anyone know? any suggestions would really help? also is anyone thinking of dorming or are people looking for apartments. thanks. i emailed the financial aid office but no one got back to me yet. i was going to try calling them tomorrow.
  13. Hey All, Just want to say congrats to those who got in and those who havent heard anything, hang in there! I received my acceptance on 11/8 and recently joined this forum. I'm coming from San Francisco, CA. And the large move across the country is seriously daunting. I dont even know where to start and everything is happening super fast. I have a friend of a friend that is currently a nursing student at NYU accelerated program. I'm trying to get in contact with her so once i do ill let you know what she says about the program.
