  1. Here is my stats:BSN: 9 years MICU experience in a univ hospital. CCRN, BLS, ACLS, PALS. Three recomendation letters from MD fellow, asst nurse manager and my unit manager. Plan to take science courses ( pharm, chem, stat, ana/physio) in the next few months. Shadowed a CRNA as well. Here is the bad part: I have a low GPA, about 2.5 and my GRE is only 282 on my first try. How can I improve my GPA and how can I make the schools to focus on my strong areas? I graduated in 1999 so I think i need to retake all of my science courses! Any suggestions?
  2. Thanks for the reply. I am currently working on my GRE coz I 'll be taking it next week though not all of the schools that I'm interested to apply are not requiring it. I just want to make my application stand out for this particular school have so many applicants (500 a year) and yet only gets 15-20 students to enroll.
  3. I have been dreaming of becoming a CRNA but I dont know if I have a good standing. Anyone pls help what else need to work on? These are my stats: BSN degree 7 years MICU experience in a large university hospital CCRN GRE to be taken next week GPA 3.4 Shadowed a CRNA for a day Pls help!!
  4. I took the exam 5 months ago and failed- my score was 86 passing score was 89! Im taking it again in a week. Any tips??? Pls!! im desperate!!!
