  1. I'm a PCA on an oncology unit and I only WISH I made what y'all do .. I'm also a BSN student, so I guess I'm happy for the clinical experience rather than a living wage? LoL
  2. Class of 2015 here! BSN - starting the program this fall after completing all pre-reqs and being accepted! Single mom of 4 kiddos, ages 3-(almost) 11. I work full time at the hospital in the ward I plan to work one when I graduate, Oncology. I *LOVE* it! My manager has already told me I have a job when I graduate :) Our orientation was earlier this month. We wear navy blue scrubs, white shoes, white lab coat. We wear our scrubs to class on campus and to clinicals, which is new to this semester. I'm SO excited! I'm turning 36 next month and can't wait to get my second career moving!
  3. Single mom of 4 here! My son is (almost) 11, 9 1/2 year old twin girls and a 3 year old girl. Dad isn't really in the picture emotionally or financially. We divorced last year. I'm in the BSN program at my school and work full time at the hospital. Yes, it's tough - I'm a non-trad returning to school for a second career... I'm blessed to have family nearby, but I begin to feel guilty for "dumping" my kids off so much on family... HOWEVER... it's only temporary and I know that as soon as school is over, it will be so much better! Keep your chin up and keep going - it's the best example you can show your kids!! Good luck, mama!
