I also did the same thing. I sent a thank you letter right after my interview. I was told by a fellow RN that its best to just send one to the person you shadowed afterwards. Initially you shouldve said that you look forward to the opportunity to shadow and thanks to the director that way you've covered your thank you in advance to him/her. The thank you to person you shadowed should be along the lines of a thank you letter and bring up a specific event that occured that day. Hope this helps!!!!

Hello! I went in for an interview and was invited to attend a shadow session. Is this a good sign? What are the expectations of a nurse shadowing? Do I ask alot of questions, perform simple tasks such as vitals? What are the nonos in shadowing? I really want this job and its at a phenomianl facility and I would like to seal the deal on the day I shadow! Thanks felllow nurses for any advice you can offer!!!!

How bad is the program really and do you have any guidance or intel on how to study for the class or what to really focus on? I start the ACE program this month and Im shaking in my boots from what Ive heard from other students and just reading the blogs.
