    Cali-Greetings to you! CA is a huge state--I live in San Diego County which is appx an 7-8 hr drive to northern CA---San Francisco. I'm 30 minute south of the Orange County (OC)border and the most northern part of San Diego. Narrow down your location a bit and maybe I can help you. Are you looking for starz and glitz( i.e hollywood) or coastal beauty (i.e.San Diego , Santa Barbara beaches?), or mountain highs? Housing---cost of living--salary- is quite high as you head north and goes down a bit as you head south- until you hit Del Mar, Torrey Pines, La Jolla , where it again becomes $$$$. Best Wishes
