  1. yay! I'm almost graduated and off to be a nursing student!
  2. I'm going to Ryerson :) like I said before haha
  3. did none of you listen? haha i applied back in december, they recieved all my documents according to their portal, they said to me that they did not accept out of province unless there were spots open that werent going to be filled by ontario students, and i already said that my first choice was ryerson and i already accepted my offer there a month ago geeze
  4. no, when mohawk sent the letter saying that they had recieved my application, it also said that my application wouldn't be processed or considered because it is an oversubscribed program
  5. i've officially been rejected from 50% of the schools i've applied for: mohawk, st. lawrence, and st. clair for BScN collaborative PS i have a 95% average, i am on student's council and i am involved in clubs and sports, so it is all because i am from Nova scotia/ out of province from ontario George brown, ryerson, and georgian college do not discriminate by province
  6. HHAAHA soooo true, now i'm most excited for this!
  7. Congrats! and it is so true, the hardest part is the waiting
  8. The second round of offers go out mid-march I think. and I know ccormier! It is soooo hard to wait. I got really frustrated with waiting for out of province schools (ontario) for a response so I was about to apply to a Nova Scotia university when I found out about my george brown/ryerson acceptance. Then two days later I got my Ryerson and York/georgian acceptance, when I least expected it. I don't think I'll get into St.Clair/Windsor or Mohawk/Macmaster regardless of my grades, because they sent me a letter saying that they give first priority to accept ontario students for oversubscribed programs. I didn't get any acceptance from St. LAwrence/Laurentian (my sister's college) which surprised me unless they use the same policy about ontario student's priority. But I already accepted my offer from Ryerson (my 1st choice) so I guess it doesn't really matter. :dancgrp: :dncgbby:
  9. Hello! I was just wondering where everyone applied for Nursing in September 2011. I have applied to Ryerson, Ryerson-George Brown, Mohawk-McMaster, Georgian-York, St.Lawrence-Laurentian, and St. Clair-Windsor. I have been accepted to Georgian-York, Ryerson, and George Brown- Ryerson. I have already accepted my offer to Ryerson (my first choice) because of the "career-ready" education when you graduate so after 4 years I will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing . Where did you apply and why? P.S. I'm out-of-province everywhere I applied. I'm from Nova Scotia and I only applied to schools in Ontario. Both Mohawk and St. Clair sent me a letter saying that I probably wouldn't be accepted even with my 93/94% average because I am out-of-province.
  10. Congrats CanadianGirl79! Do you know what one you're going to accept?
  11. I accepted Ryerson Today!
  12. Today I also got an offer from Georgian College's BScN
  13. Thanks! I'm really excited and I'm going to confirm my offer within the next few days from Ryerson. Good luck guys!
  14. Think about it, both Ryerson and Humber have excellent programs. Ryerson has good theory clinical mix while Humber I've heard has ALOT of clinical hours. Ryerson is in the city. Ryerson has university professors, HUmber has college professors. Humber has less of a selection of electives Vs. a university. I'm going to Ryerson in Sept 2011. I've researched these forums (you should to) and compared Ontario programs, and they helped me make this decision. I really like the way Ryerson sounds to me :) Maybe see you in September?
