  1. Thank you flying ICU RN. I was afraid of that:confused:
  2. I write everything down in my own shorthand.
  3. I am a Nurse and work in the ER. I see lots of trauma and I still own and ride a Harley. I love few things more. I only go for Sunday drives and during the week when traffic is low. I would not own and use a motorcycle as a primary mode of transportation to get from A to B. Many of the accidents I see in the ER are from people trying to get from A to B as fast as possible. I just like to enjoy the ride. Be Safe!
  4. Dude, that sucks! You can get paid the most in a Hospital especially if you are not opposed to working night and weekends. The weekend night shift differential at the Hospital I work at is $8.25 per hour. I am an LPN as well and I make over $30 per hour because of the shift diff. I am also going to Nursing school to get my RN too.
  5. I have heard that a nurse may not work for the federal government or the indian health services (IHS) if that person did not graduate from a NLN accredited school. Does anyone have any information either proving or disproving that? I am currently attending a school that is not accredited nor will be accredited before I graduate and I want to continue on to be a FNP. Will this affect my education opportunities as well?
