KK4YOU In your first session at Chamberlain, you will have Success Seminar. When I took it, we were required to give a group presentation, but it was not bad at all. I used to be TERRIFIED of public speaking, but have relaxed quite a bit. The interpersonal communications class is a speech class, but it's not as intimidating as it sounds. The instructor I had (James Bernard) was just incredible and he creates a supportive environment for his students. I took Statistics (online) through DeVry/Chamberlain. The first week is very overwhelming, but there are many resources available to you (at least online there is!). I got a strong A in that class. I wouldn't worry too much about the public speaking issue. The students you'll encounter will become very familiar to you, over time, and it doesn't seem formal at all when speaking in front of them.
