St. Paul's School of Nursing - Spring 2015
It took a long while to find work, especially in the hospital. However, I started out with a very nice Case Manager job working with Social Workers. It paved the way for other jobs that I qualified for. The NCLEX is a lot of concentration, but if you know your material, and your priorities, passing it should be a breeze. Even the check all that apply. Good luck at SPSON, I have only good memories from the school and am so glad I had chosen them.

St. Paul's School of Nursing - Spring 2015
Hello: I am writing to the threads that I have been reading about St. Paul's School of Nursing. First off, they made my dream a reality by becoming a Registered Nurse. I had a very good experience there and was very happy with my decision to attend SPSON. Yes it is expensive, but it was worth it to me. I worked my butt off at night, did not quit my job, and did well while I was there. I studied very diligently and my hard work paid off. There are problems there, but where aren't there problems. The tuition included me to take advantage of post graduation courses from Kaplan and some other place that helped us study for the NCLEX. I took advantage of everything the school offered. I passed the NCLEX the first time that I took it, incidentally, right around the corner from the school. Having to work full-time (I could not quit my job like other people), all of my class schedules were carefully planned which made it easier for me to incorporate my busy work schedule and time to buckle down and study. If you don't put in the time to read and study why go to nursing school? I was very satisfied with my education there and I can tell you where I work, they hired at least 20 RN's with an Associate Degree who were from SPSON. Good Luck to all who apply and make the very best of your education because Nursing IS the BEST job in the world.

New Grad, where to start career?
I thought that when I graduated Nursing School all the doors would have opened to get a job. I have sent out over 50 resumes, spent countless hours filling out applications, calling hospitals Nursing Recruitment, knocking on doors only to have all of them shut. One hospital told me that we only see BSN graduates so when you get your BSN come back. I have now enrolled in a BSN program for the fall. Back to school again.

Passing the NCLEX RN on my first try
Just found out on the Pearson Vue Website I passed the NCLEX on my first try - and it is an exam I don't want to have had to take again. But does anyone know how long it takes for them to post your license on the website. I took the exam on Tuesday.
