I found the schedule in PRC site for registration but it says "For Manila and Pampanga passers only." What does that mean? I took my NLE in Baguio. I plan to register in Manila for my license. But I'm confused when to go to PRC. Should I follow this schedule also? Thanks for your replies! :)

@Jasper: HAHA. Really? That must be easy to say but hard to do. Especially with all the pressure around (ie. family obligations, zero productivity, undone dreams piling up, neighbors talking... hahaha). BUT HEY, nice mindset you have there! Would you consider other jobs while waiting for replies from hospitals? It takes too long to be appointed. I don't think I can be bum for that long. If yes, what jobs do you suggest? BTW, tips when applying for volunteer/staff nurse. Which hospital, about backers and letters of recommendation, when to start applying and etcetera. Any advice or sharing of experience would be much appreciated! Thaaaaaaaaaanks for sharing.

Wow. This thread is long! But very very helpful! :) I'm currently waiting for the June 2010 board results and keeping my options open. Reading through this, I see that the waiting time could take months long before you even get to have an interview for the job. I wanted to ask: WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING WHILE WAITING FOR THE HR TO REPLY? Thanks for sharing!

Hi. I'm waiting for the results of the boards last June 2010. I wanted to make my time count by researching ahead about volunteer nursing, hospital applications and such. I have no idea how that works. Like, where do I go? The Human Resource? How do I know who to talk to? Are they accommodating enough? Which hospitals should I go or job fairs to join... I'm clueless -- as humbling as that. Please help! Thank you for your insights and sharing!
