  1. I got my ADN to start...hopefully I will find a job that will help me get my BSN, eventually I want my MSN and possibly teaching after that. I just wish I was in a better position for finding a job right now.
  2. Barcodes are just one more safety measure, we all still do the 3 checks...I neeeeeed....., I haaaavvveeeeee...lol. I like the idea of barcodes, been using them on our accuchecks and love having to not type all those numbers in.

I was told that $20 and above is good for a LTC in RI...also, I am a new grad and just hoping for a job offer from anyone.
  4. Nooo, nurses are a small community. If it was safety related, have a refresher in service (people will figure it out) If it was drug/alcohol related, she is going to rehab and will likely try to rebuild her life. No need to gossip that to someone who might not hire her after she pulls it together. If it was a personality conflict...who doesn't have those once in awhile. It doesn't matter, especially if she comes back and everyone knows her business. Plus, if she wanted you to know, you would know...in my exp, a couple weeks will go by and someone will get the real story...it just takes awhile for everything to cool down.
  5. I love the idea of one...freedom, bugs in your teeth, blistering sun on your back...vibrating butt, burn marks on the inside of your calf... hmmm, how about the quiet, air conditioned comfort of a six speed racing machine with comfortable leather wrapped seats cushioning your tush, the soft strains of classical music drifting thru the cabin almost overwhelmed by the sound of you downshifting your overpowered luxury vehicle...complete with airbags and onstar. For those who enjoy the buggy experience, I agree with All the Gear All the Time. No exceptions. Ever...
