It is a computer trick where who can re-register or cannot register anymore bc you passed...

The PVT works 150% people...........It make sense too.... If it goes to the cc page, that means you failed and that you have to re-register again for the exam.

To Silverdragon; I am not an RN here in Canada, but I just passed the NCLEX-RN. Ca BRN is requesting me to provide them an SSN so they could process and issue me my license. What should I do next?... Do I first find a job and get SSN? But how can someone hire me if my license is not even process yet?

Hi Silverdragon102, how can I secure SSN, If I am Canadian. Do I need to go to California to find a job first or do they allow me to get SSN first as soon as I get to California then find a job? Please let me know, I appreciate it.

I got got good pop up and I was hoping that PVT works for me too. I tried PVT tons of times so far good pop up did not change and still very anxious when ever I checked it (it's just me). My husband thinks I am crazy. This is my 3rd week waiting which makes me feel excited at the same time depressed (couldn't eat much or sleep much) :uhoh3: can't do anything but wait (Ca BRN) and no SSN. I will keep you posted.

Examination and licensing application. Once an applicant passes the examination, a license is automatically issued. Under these circumstances the BRN cannot accept applications for the examination and licensure without a U.S. social security number. For those applicants who have failed the exam and want to re-apply; CABON will not accept re-application without U.S Social Security Number. If you are already eligible before this memo was issued, THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU.

You can't retake? How come? I know someone from the Philippines took the NCLEX so many times but did not have any problem retaking. He applied in California. I wonder why?????

PVT (Pearson Vue Trick) is this thing where you go the the Pearson Vue site and register again for another exam after you finished your exam. If it directed you to get your Credit Card that means you failed. If you get "pop up" to call your BON that means you still have hope that you might have pass. Their is no trick really. This is just how they call it just to give a name.

That is for sure good to hear. It's just so hard to wait and knowing that I might have pass but couldn't get any quick official answer if I pass or not (no SSN yet). I have no choice but to wait for the result from the mail. It is very hard. It makes me feel more anxious than ever. I have 3 weeks more to wait. This better than no hope though hehehe.
