Chamberlain RN to BSN online program, July 2011
how's everyone doing with their courses? Next semester I'm taking two classes (this is my first time attempting this) :) --- AND I'm starting a new job! I just got (what I hope to be) my dream job at a dermatologist's office. After 3 1/2 years of the floor, I'm hanging my shoes up for awhile!

For my next session I'm suppose to be taking Collaborative Health & Community Health .. Is this a bad pair? I've never taken two classes in one term, but am anxious to graduate (I also have a brand-spankin' new baby

Chamberlain dropped NLNAC Accreditation
Going along with what Chamberlainedu said, I know a lot of the brick & mortor schools here in NJ only hold CCNE accreditation. I wouldn't be too worried about it :)
- Best online RN to BSN program....CHEAP?

Applying to Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing?
I was part of the "lucky last class" were jobs were still pretty readily available to new grads. Sadly after 2008, it seemed that jobs became scarce. I worked ICU (shortly - I hated it) after graduation and then I transferred to med/surg (ironically, did it backwards) and have worked there for 3+ years right across the street. :) Mountainside definitely favors Mountainside grads - so that's a plus. They also now have a BSN program (along with the Diploma program) - it's a partnership with Caldwell College. I'm currently getting my BSN now online @ Chamberlain College of Nursing -- it's an online school, there's a lot of great threads regarding that school on allnurses as well -- just search it :) I've really enjoyed online learning and was able to get married, buy a house, have baby and maintain a FT RN job all within the process of still going to school and not feel too overwhelmed.

loved it. easy-peasy. Everything is open book and they walk you through how to do the problems. All you have to do is do the homework, take notes on how to do the problem and then plug in those numbers into the equation. Simple. And I think you get to take each test 2 or 3 times and it only saves your best grade. You also get to keep redoing the homework as many times as you want (so theoretically you can get 100 in the class)

Applying to Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing?
I graduated from MHSON in 2008 - loved it. But I find, that it's becoming an increasing problem to not have your BSN. Hackensack will only be hiring BSN grads as of Jan 1. I know Overlook/Morristown prefer BSN grads. Although I absolutely loved the school, I'd recommend looking into BSN programs.

I hear ya! I got a B- for the final, 212/260 = 81. For the entire course I got 912/1000, so I pulled the A by the skin of my teeth! I wish I could say that I enjoyed Econ! I tried my best to learn and absorb the info, but I still feel like it was a bit of information-overload. I hate to say that even though it's only been a week I still don't remember much

I felt the final was really difficult. The essays were easy, but I struggled with some of the multiple choice from the past 4 weeks (although this is probably because I really struggled with the information for the last four weeks). I'm in the same boat as you Charley, I probably will not manage to have an "A" after the final. We'll see, best of luck to you! P.S. I really didn't enjoy the live lecturer. (I loved the Stat's live lecturer). I thought she wasn't very helpful and kept responding to people's "typed" in comments..so out of nowhere I would hear her say "No, Jenny..yes Mark" blah blah, and she was confusing me! She also often said one thing but meant something else (ie said aggregate supply, but meant aggregate demand), and this was really frustrating for me who was struggling to begin with. I put all that in the survey. My individual instructor was kind, and tried to explain things the best way she could, but I still struggled lol It seems to be the general consensus.
