Hey stash11, your are correct! Microbology is not listed yet......but keep checking because they are constantly adding courses to their website. A & P 1 without lab is what Excelsior will except for my ADN. If you are planning on transferring to another college they may require that a lab is taken along with A & P. $399 will only cover the cost of the course and it is a one time flat rate. Books and other study materials are not included. However, there is a 6 months time period to complete the course. " In others words you have 6 months to finish" I hope this is a help to you...:)

Straighterline is the way to go....Their price is reasonable and no prerequisites is required. Go to the straighterline.com and check out what they have to offer. I planned to start courses with them next month.

Hello New Nurse, I feel ur drama. I had some of those same problems, but believe me it will get better. It is a daily process that gets better with time. The longer you are working in the field of nursing your skills will develop and then here comes knowledge, along with that experience that takes charge. So, take one day at a time. Because, we experienced nurses still faces difficult shifts. I'm new in Dialysis, which is a whole world away from traditional nursing. It was like I was in a new country, learning a new language. Simply, because I was not taught Dialysis in the Practical Nurse Program!!!........Believe me I KNOW it will get BETTER as time goes by....

For example; uniforms, gas, car repairs, (tires & brakes) online courses such as CEU's, CPR certification and fees for license renewal. I'm working on my RN degree from excelsior and I have been able to file books, study guide modules that I purchased from ISTUDYSMART.COM and all the extra materials that I need to further my education.

Yes, I heard of this.....You have 3 days to cancelled the contract at no cost or strings attach. After, the 3 days are gone by, you stuck in the contract unless you are willing pay out with an settement. Which is a portion of a % of your contract agreement.:redbeathe
