  1. depends on the state and in some facilities they will keep u as a cna if they intend to hire u as an RN
  2. Thanks. Im really thinking it shouldn't be a problem. My managers knew I was gonna take my boards any minute now and they also know I am anticipating going for the next round of hiring. They never said this would be a problem. Im thinking they would have said something. I didn't even think something like this could be a problem until someone told me that DC doesn't allow this. I too am wondering if it's more of a facility specific matter.
  3. Hello, anybody familiar with the BON rules regarding this issue in Washington DC? I looked at the nurse practice act but couldn't find anything specific on this. I currently work as a tech at a local hospital. I just passed boards and want to know if it's legal to continue working as a tech until the next round of hiring takes place for new grads?
