I thought LCSC's genetics professors were great. I am sorry you feel like they are complete trash. Have you actually met them in person? Do you actually know them? I have spent time with all of them pretty much every day and none are remotely close to "trash". As for our pass rate for the NCLEX is 98%. As for the financial aid form, it's done online so I don't know what your problem would be there. I have never encountered a problem with fiancial aide form, award letters, loans, applications, etc. The only problem I have encountered is that they don't take VISA.

Yes it is harder to get into the LCSC program, but that is for good reason. If they did not set the bar higher, than anybody could get in. This means they could let anyone in and this could be harmful to future patients. Even though WWCC is an associates degree, most nurses that I have seen come out of there have taken over 3 years or more to finish. It took me 4 years to graduate LCSC.

I just graduated from LCSC and their nursing program is fantastic. So far everyone in our class has program. They currently have a brand new nursing building with state of the art lab. They also started accepting nursing students into the program twice a year now, so you have more of a chance. I would not go to WWCC in Clarkston, Wa. I have seen some of the nurses and students, and frankly I am not impressed. Also you would go about the same amount of time as WWCC and get a bachelor's degree instead of an associates.

Everyone wears scrubs!
I totally agree with you. I think that we have earned the right to wear scrubs and it irks me when I see others doing it. It confuses patients and can be potentially dangerous.

Have you been assaulted by a patient?
When I worked in long term facility as a CNA, I was kicked, punched, pinched, bitten, spit on, verbally abused, etc by patients. I have had bruises literally the size of softballs (bruises:yes, as in more than one of that size). Even though I followed the chain of command to report these incidents, nothing ever came of it, until one of my supervisors witnessed me get kicked so hard I flew across the room and hit a wall (granted I am pretty little). It is sad and upsetting that things have to come to this for anything to be done. As nurses, if situations are treated appropriately, we should not have to endure workplace violence.

Can you have RN certification in more than one state?
This really sucks, because every job wants experience, and guess what? As a new grad you don't have any! It is so frustrating to find a job!!! sigh*

Can you have RN certification in more than one state?
I just got my Idaho license which is within the compact agreement, and I am currently in the process of getting my endorsement in Washington. So this perfectly answers my question about how many licenses one can possess at once!! I was so afraid I would have to forfeit my Idaho license. THANKS SO MUCH!!!
