  1. Yes. Usually I just push it out of my mind. I just have to believe I am competent and since I double-check everything, trust that I did the best I could. When it gets to the point where I can no longer just push it out of my mind, that usually means I need a vacation.
  2. I'd probably just get off FB (which I did several years ago and never looked back!) and ignore the comment. Honestly, it's not wise to accept medical advice from social media, FB or otherwise. Hopefully no one listens to her.
  3. The only issue with Pyridium I can think of would be that it would be that the discoloration is causes could mask any blood or other issues in the urine. Otherwise, I could see how that would be very comforting - I always scream when having a Foley inserted. It's extremely painful for me.
  4. Several times I have read that Hondros is "accelerated," with LPN in 4 quarters (greater than 1 year if they don't have summer classes) and RN in an additional 6 quarters (adding up to a total of more than 3 years if they don't have summer classes). I can't help but wonder exactly what the acceleration is? I am finishing an ADN program - NOT accelerated and I will have had my RN in about 2.5 years, prerequisites included.
  5. I have been on the waiting list since July of 2009. I worked hard and applied for the AAAA and will be starting in the program this fall, over a year ahead of schedule. For the AAAA, you must complete your prerequisites and first quarter classes. You must take and pass on the FIRST try A&P I and II, microbiology, and English comp I. They say B's are acceptable, but I would get A's if I were you! And keep your GPA up! Good luck!!! :)
