  1. Yeah, I would require something special or different to deal with competition. Ok, back to the drawing board.
  2. Thanks guys for all replies! Definitely going shopping this weekend and re-thinking my methods of preparing and packing meals to take to work. Awesome :).
  3. Those are actually good ideas. I live close to a Costco and a Sam's Club. I avoided them because I didn't see myself needing groceries in bulk (there's just 2 of us in my household), but I sure will re-think my ideas of grocery shopping. I was asking more about making it a side business. Buying fresh ingredients and making ready-to-go meals (with different menu items) and selling them online to nurses that might want them. I figure we would have to service a small area to make sure the food is fresh, and all you have to do is warm them in the microwave, or freeze for a later day.
  4. Does anyone else struggle with eating healthy while at work? I barely have time to cook at home, and most of the time I end up eating food from the cafeteria (not really a fan as it's overpriced), or random things from the vending machine. I kept on thinking about ordering healthy cooked foods and having them delivered to my house as needed. So when its time to head out, I simply grab a bowl and warm it up when it's time to eat. My friends thought that this would be a decent side-hustle. What do you guys think? Would you pay for such deals?
  5. Hi! I am new to allnurses.com and I had a few questions to ask. So forgive me if this isn't the correct forum to ask. I am currently an ADN student at a school in southern CA, and I want to upgrade to BSN as earliest as possible, once am done with my ADN. Some time back I heard that Long Beach Memorial was hiring new grads, and they would pay for your education at CSU-LB if you are interested in advancing your career. Does anyone know if they still have such a program? And how hard is it to join? Are there any other programs like that around LA, or Long Beach area? Any reply will be highly appreciated. Thanks y'all.
