I need to update the tuition for the program at Orlando Academy below. I have a friend who just registered for the May 9, 2011 class there and the tuition is now $650 with a registration fee of $50. Just thought I should let everyone know! Oh, and I'm happy to share that I'm working at a major hospital in the central florida area in the telemetry unit as a lab tech after taking the cert exam. The school had provided me with a recommendation letter and hiring info to help me land this job. So excited!

I took a Phlebotomy course in Orlando, FL recently and am certified through NHA now as a CPT at Orlando Academy School of Health Professions. They have a 7 week full program and 2 week accelerated program. I really enjoyed the course and the instructors were awesome. I had taken phlebotomy before at a community college as part of my nursing curriculum but really needed more practice and the 2 week course was perfect.
