  1. There are 4 nursing classes so it will take you 4 semesters to finish the nursing classes. I would do all the pre reqs before you start the nursing classes.
  2. I hard back in like a month or so. But I was being a pain I think called every week maybe twice lol. Until I heard I was accepted. I'm sure you will be good!
  3. I had taken some courses at another college and transferred them over. I believe my GPA was 3.0. If you have a 3.25 you should be fine!
  4. I believe the minimum is like a 2.5 or so. Then you have to take a test which test to see where you stand academically. I just started my program there in may everyone seems helpful.
  5. Thanks I appreciate the feed back! I'm hoping to be able to do some sort of nursing assistance work soon. Did you go to Laboure? I think saw some of your post about Laboure. That's were I'm going now.
  6. Thanks! I'm the same way. I have to work full time I really don't have any other way and going to school part time. If I get the time I would like to do what you said and work as an aid I just can't right now. I know there's a lot of people that go in fresh I just wanted to see what their perspective was. Thanks again! Ronny
  7. Hello all current and future nurses hope this finds you all well. I had a question that I was hoping some of you might be able to answer. Im a new male nursing student and I don't have any past experience. I was wondering how many out there started nursing school with no experience and what advise you can give to someone going in fresh. How did you get comfortable around patients for the first time? and what kid of things would you have done differently. Thanks again.!
  8. Do you currently work in the health field as a CRNA? Im just asking cause i've heard that some teachers like it better if you have some experience.
  9. I did start in the spring. And i have no complaints about the school everyone seems very helpful!
  10. I started in January at that school. Started Nursing 1000 this past Monday. Everyone seems very nice and wanting to help. All positive feedback!
  11. Good you should. Good luck hope everything works out!
