I caught wind about this group that is hiring experienced nurses to work privately inside the hospital. You know...for the exclusively rich and/or critical patients who wants one-on-one care. Can anybody please tell me if this is true? I went to this...

Yup...you could say that.... its all worth it... and then some! We are doing just about the same kinda job we used to do in the ICU and get PAID for dioin so. Unlike when we were staff nurses... we get "allowances" if u know what I mean. Plus we get...

Years bedside experience in ICU, MS, Pedia, etc.... Preferrably past St Lukes staff... other hospitals- maybe if coming from a major tertiary hospital in Manila. Good luck!

Rate is P2000-2,500 per shift depending on the care needed. Our org is basically "in-Patient" services only. Meaning we dont go outside of the hospital to take care of patients. We've got a steady flow of patients inside the hospital that we seldo...

There isnt any contract...but I guess you have to stay at least 1year...they kept saying that.

They dont count volunteer work as bedside experience...sorry.

What say you.....staff nurses? Do you look down on PDNs?

do you have bedside experience? they only accept employment based bedside experience in a reputable hospital. no volunteer nursing expe are counted.

I understand where your coming from. You came from a batch of unprecedented volume when the demand for nurses abroad slowed down. You must really want to go into Staff nursing first before going private duty, but cant. The risk your taking is eno...

Hiring of PDNs will soon end at St Luke's Global City. They are finalizing the list of applicants na for re-training. For those interested to still practice their Nursing career here in the Philippines and still earn as much as 40-50K/month easily...

the best way to know the PDN contact number for SLMC is to call their NSO and ask for the number of their President. They'll be glad to help unemployed nurses.

I have not resigned too. I tried it out to get a feel of it. I liked it. Its the same stuff I get to do at ICU....only this time I get PAID..hehe. They made it pretty clear that it wasnt a part time job for the ff reasons: 1. Its a 12hr shift......
