  1. Wow..... I was just thinking the same thing. I thought for sure I would at least get a credit check.
  2. Just looked...... No credit check for me yet
  3. I'm getting worried as well. I applied to both scholarships and have not received a credit check yet either.
  4. @erinmichele we are going to think positive.... lol. Lets hope that maybe we are just 3 of the top applicants . From my understanding there class sizes has increased to now accepting about 40-45 people and receiving 100+ applications. Honestly, even if they did only receive enough applications to accept everyone I wouldn't care. The program is accredited, affordable, and in the end allows for us to sit for our boards. Congratulations ladies (I hope I'm right, if not sorry) we are one very small step closer to accomplishing our goal!!!!
  5. Yay..... I got accepted too!!!!
  6. Oh no, now I have to wait the entire weekend to find out.... Lol. Thanks for letting us know.
  7. Well I'm praying we all get a nice acceptance letter tomorrow!!!
  8. Yes, mine says sent to department for review on February 21st. No, I haven't contacted them concerning when we'll know. Was the denial an email or an actual letter? I applied to 3 schools. My biggest fear is not getting into any of them .
  9. I haven't heard anything yet either. I have been so anxious, checking the website frequently as well. Since they meeting today I wonder if we'll know something by tomorrow.
  10. I only applied to schools in Georgia in order to receive tuition assistance with my job. Georgia College & State and Georgia Southern (and of course Columbus State). Only 1 of the schools I applied to required the GRE. If I had known that I wouldn't have taken it either . I'm hoping the applicant pool is not too large also. My GPA is not as strong as I would like. Make sure you'll keep me posted on when you receive any word. The program seem very nice and the staff is extremely helpful with answering any questions.
  11. I applied to Columbus State as well. Waiting on the letter too. They said we should hear something within 2-3 weeks after the application deadline. Hope we both get in. What other schools did you apply to?
  12. Soc 1101 is not one of the classes used to calculate your GPA for entrance into the program, however it is a pre-req class. So you would need it before you are admitted into the program.
  13. 40 people were admitted and 4 of them are men.
  14. Once you apply to the program and finish all your pre reqs, you should be contacted (either by email or phone) regarding the available dates to take the tests. At least that's how it went for me.
  15. Thanks parrothead36, I will call tomorrow concerning the drug screen. I haven't got it yet.
  16. Congratulations!!!! I knew you would get in!!!!
  17. Congratulations!!!!! I got mine too....
  18. All I'm going to say is..... Check your Augusta Tech emails!!!!!
  19. Well, that's even worst than her not knowing. They only have to review the GPA of the 6 courses and the PAX-RN scores. I would have slapped all the data in an excel spreadsheet and had the letters out the day after the deadline....
  20. And another thing..... Wouldn't an acceptance email be much easier. Just a thought.
  21. OMG. So I called Augusta Tech admissions today just to keep up with what's going on with the acceptance letters and was told by the lady who answered the phone that "they were still working on them and should expect a letter in about 1 to 2 weeks". I couldn't think of anything else to say, so I just said thank you and hung up. That is ridiculous.... I'm not sure if she even knew what she talking about or was that the generic answer they give everyone inquiring about the application status.
  22. Vansesia, Thanks for the encouragement. Wow, there must be alot of information we need before we start for orientation to be a day and a half.
  23. Vanesia and parrothead36, The official deadline has now passed (it was yesterday). I asked admissions and they said they were gonna try to get the letters out by July 30th. I'm on pins and needles right now. Keep me updated!!!
  24. I couldn't find your email either.
  25. I know how you feel. I'm nervous too. The deadline for transcripts isn't until July 21st so we won't hear anything until after that date but before the end of July. I was also told that with our acceptance letters there will be a letter stating to come to the school and pick up a package with all the information we need about immunizations, some program info, etc. I hope it gives us a list of items we need to purchase too. Well, good luck to both of you. I too will post news of the letter (good or bad) once I receive it.
