  1. has anyone received the email link yet?
  2. @murse89 I received the letter by mail. I live in Phoenix. I was told all the letters were sent out on last Thursday, 3/21. So if you live far from LA, it might take a while before your get your letter. My online status still has not changed yet. Don't give up hope yet. Give a week and good luck to you!
  3. Family Nurse Practitioner.
  4. I got my acceptance letter yesterday via postal office. My online status still says no decision has been made. I am so excited! I always want to move to CA and go to UCLA. I was rejected a weeks ago by UCSF (I only applied two schools) and I was so depressed. I thought I had no hope getting in UCLA, but I guess anything can happen. Good luck to all of those who are still waiting for the results! The letters are coming, and never give up your hopes!
  5. PTV works for me. I took my nclex-RN yesterday and got the good pop up after I got home. Today I found my license number on BON, I am so happy now. Good luck to all of you!
  6. Sorry, Tunbuk, I got them from a Chinese website (I'm Chinese) five months ago. Somebody post it on the forum, but I just went back there to check and It was not there anymore. I couldn't find the thread. Plus, I was told one month ago that the link wasn't working anymore, and now I can't even find the thread, so I am sorry. However, you can check out Amazon. They sell old books. I think the Saunders 4th was around 25-30 dollars when I checked the website last time, and It's much easier to read on a book than on the computer. The saunders I have also has no CD, which has a lot of practice questions. So I think it's better to have the book.
  7. kat von b, I had about 6 med questions. Some of them I've never heard of, but that's ok coz we don't need 100% , we just need to pass. So thinking of that made me relaxed a little bit during the exam. So just relax, and good luck to you tomorrow!
  8. to Michael'sprv8RN, thanks. For SATA, what I did during the exam were: first, calm down and tell myself that it's good thing to have those hard questions; second, even we consider them hard questions but don't really think them hard when you are doing those questions on the test. Don't be intimidated by them. They are not that hard. Actually after I did more than ten SATA during the test I then found some SATA were easier than those regular questions. Third, I used elimination first, then for some other choices that I was not sure if they were right, but I couldn't find anything wrong with them either, in that case, I usually chose them. This is just how I deal with SATA questions, and I am sure everybody have different ways on doing those questions. There is no best way, so just try to find one that work for you, and good luck to you!
  9. To evilglowduckie, thanks. Actually I didn't take any review courses at all. All I did was studying the Saunders fourth edition and the kaplan q trainer (the old edition). I didn't buy any book. The Saunders and Q trainer are online book that I got from a website for free. I studied them for a month and I think Saunders is a very good book for NCLEX. Evilglowduckie, don't be scared. I think you pass too coz all the people i know who took 75 questions passed. So if you want you can try the PVT. It might calm you down. Good luck!
  10. Hi, everyone, I just took the nclex and tried the PVT immediately after I got home. I got the good pop-up. Hope I pass, cross my finger... Thanks everyone, I learned a lot from this website and this is actually my first post here. I just registered this account. Anyway, my computer shut off at 75 questions. There were a lot of SATA, more than 20. I didn't count, but I feel the number was between 25-30. I didn't freak out though during the exam, coz I kept telling myself that it was good thing to get so many hard questions. I didn't get any math, or other alternative format questions. I finished it in about one and a half hour, and I was exhausted after I walked out the testing center. Now I am just waiting, and I'll let you guys know when I get my results and share with you how i studied for this exam. Thanks, and good luck to all of you!
