Hello everyone, I am working at a hospital where there are 4 patients in one room, between each patient there is a curtain to provide privacy. My question to everyone is what is something yall do on your floor to promote quietness during both of the shifts and some policy or intervention your do for pain management. Our floor conducted these things for quietness already: 1) quiet time for 2 hrs (we dim the lights in the hall way 2) have that signal light by the nurses station to monitor the noise level Pain management: 1) give pain medication and reassess after 1 hr 2) write on the board when is the next pain medication is due. Is there anything else anyone can think of? Any idea? Please help.

okay.. :) did you take all 3 together st. johns worth, sublingual b12 and ginseng..or ur just saying all of these work...I want to give it a try but scared what if it effects my ability to think.. its so sad that I feel like I have to find something to relax me.. err

just wondering...did anyone take antianxiety medication before taking their NCLEX? good idea or not? I personally dont think so but I had a SEVERE anxiety attack my first time. just wondering if anyone ever took it?!?!?!

I used Kaplan and scored above 60% on trainer 5,6, and 7. I don't know what to do... do i buy Kaplan again or try something else?

Also, how soon did you start studying again? did you take a break to clear your mind?

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR POST.. I took my test and failed it felt like my life was over. I had a very bad anxiety attack on the day of the test.. my question to you is, what did you do differently second time around to decrease your anxiety? Do you have to reapply for ATT or you call the BON and they will go over the process on the phone after 45 days? when does your day begin? From the day you took your test or from the day you got your letter?

how soon will I get my official note that I didnt pass. Will I get an email? I ask b/c i need to let my work people know.

lol okay.. its okay to say it.. I am accepting it. Cant complain about it anymore so I am trying to move on.

So, when i did the trick, it went to the CC page. Today I checked and my GN permit is not there anymore. What does that mean? does that mean 100% I failed?

the kaplan book seems boring. did anyone buy the HURST book?

Hi, I am heart broken to know that I went to CC page. During my test I felt like I was going to vomit. I had to keep my hand on my mouth the entire time. I cried my way out of the building b/c I knew the test didnt go well but I still didnt want to give up hope. I checked today and say a bad screen. I started studying for this in MAY and I used Kaplan 100%. I dont think kaplan was as great as I thought it would be. I also did HURST. I didnt attend the class but I did the videos at home. I wanted to know from people who didnt pass the first time, what did they do different second time around. Things that impacted my results: 1) studied to early for test 2) ANXIETY (killed me) 3) studied the night before the test (BIG MISTAKE) thinking strong and positive. I can do this. WE ALL CAN :)

why are pll saying to review all the rationales on Kaplan? I know its good to review them but is it b/c NCLEX uses the rationale as a question or something?

I am doing kaplan as well.. Did yall watch the video and did the specific content (System) test? like cardio, respiratory?

I have KAPLAN right now.. I am debating if I should get NCSBN..idk
