  1. Aside from retaking the tests, has anyone use the ATI Comprehensive NCLEX Review book to study for the Comprehensive exam? I know this book is used for ATI's live review to prepare you for the NCLEX, but since it's a summarized book, I was wondering if it helped any with the Comprehensive exit exam? Thanks!
  2. Hey everyone who got accepted! Are you guys excited for orientation this week? I think it'd be nice to know everyone's name so when we see each other at orientation we can be like, "Hey! I know you from the forums!" haha. :) My name is Mariegrace. See you guys soon!
  3. I'm nervous!! 2 more days left til the end of the month! Did anyone get a reply yet?
  4. I heard we'll find out the results by the end of the month. Let us know if you got in!
  5. I think I did okay with the TEAS, and I feel good about the essay. It's just my GPA I'm a bit worried about :uhoh21: How about you?
  6. JustADream - Thanks!! I found out one of the schools I'm wanting to get into doesn't have a preceptorship. It sounds like a very important step to transition easier. Anyone know why some schools do and some schools don't? It seems like all should. I live in California for reference.
  7. This may be a dumb question, but what's the difference between Clinicals and Preceptorship? Isn't both you learn from the nurses at the hospitals, etc?
  8. Hey Everyone! Just wondering who applied to the LA Nov. cohort? Just took the test yesterday, so good luck to everyone!
  9. Hey Everyone! So from what I've read, the ELMSN program is really just a BSN once you pass your NCLEX and then you have the option to pursue the MSN, right? If that's the case, can you take your MSN anywhere if they're only WASC accredited?
  10. Does anyone know if it's difficult to get a job after they graduate from here? Since it's mostly online, wouldn't some employers think it's not "good enough" since there's no physical class?
  11. Hey Everyone, So, while I'm waiting to hear from several JCs I've applied to to see if I won the "lottery" to become an RN, I was thinking of getting my LVN license in case I don't get into any programs this year. Does anyone recommend any schools with short programs in So Cal (mainly LA and OC areas) that are accredited to transfer to other schools to bridge for LVN-RN? If so, how long are their programs and how much? Private schools are ok. Thanks! :)
  12. No, I wish! I'm applying for the fall :)
  13. P.S. Also, I read it was 39 months, but on the pdf online, there are 8 semesters )4 years)? How is that broken down into the 39 months?
  14. Hi everyone! I'm interested in attending WCU and was wondering if they had an accelerated program for those who already have a BS? If not, I know the regular tuition is around $132k, but what is it if you already have a BS (because I know some classes can transfer over)? Thanks!
  15. Hi Everyone! I'm thinking of possibly enrolling at WCU, but heard the cost was about $100k for new students. Does anyone know the cost if you previously had a BS (in a diff major) from another university? For example, I already took English, history, etc so I wouldn't need to take those. Thanks!
