.I beg to differ from your point of view about the competency in language,to practice nursing.To me,one has to be competent in the given language,in which they practice nursing.It is vital to communicate effectively and clearly with clients and other members of health team.

hi liz thanks a mill for ur reply......it is introduced from 2007 onwards for the internationally educated nurses,anbord altranais gave me a list of hospitals who provide adaptation programme and assesment but almost all of them whom i called are not giving adaptation programme at this point of time.having an hard time like..

hi all,i am after recieving letter from anbord for an adaptation programme to get registred with anbord.any1 who experienced the same?????if so what the adaptation is like and whom to approach?any information about hospital provides adaptation or any agencies to assist u with??any replies much appreciated. thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!

thanks again silver.its great to know u are from ns only.my wife is really hesitant to move to ns,giving cold weather over there in nova scotia.i am planning to live in nova scotia itself where i get job,for time being.i did recieve some replies each time when i submitted cv saying its succesfully submitted and they will contact me if i get selected for interview.but none yet!!!i have two years time to write crne,can apply for temporary registration too..

thanks silver for ur reply.i dont mind any place in canada to work initially.i have 1.7years experience in icu from india.currently am in ireland with my family,trying to get registered with anbord,but time consuming.my wife also a nurse,works here in ireland.would love to work in canda and grow professionally.i uploaded my cv in some health authorities in ns,but no intimation from any1 yet.anyway thanks very much for your reply.could you plz tell me how is the working environment in canada compared to uk,in ur point of view?i guess there is not much difference between uk and ireland healthcare system..
