    Hi there, Do you know whereabouts you're planning to work, or are you looking to find a place before you know for sure? I ask this because there are many nice areas around the most of the hospitals. For downtown/central - some of the areas/buildings can be a little sketchy, but there are really nice areas that are just a few minutes past downtown. I actually lived in an apartment block on the west end of 'downtown', right across from the U of W actually, and it was quite nice - Colony Square is the name of the building. I would suggest rentcanada.com or kijiji for websites, they should cover a pretty good idea of what's available. If you need anything else I can try to help!
