St. Paul's School of Nursing - Fall 2010 Acceptance
hello there smc6787, congrats to your acceptance and completion of your 1st semester at the school. i feel soooooooooo lost in the admission process. i passed all the exams with great scores. i am in the process of sending in the $500 deposit and arranging for the $65 background check and free urine drug test. i am puzzled by all the shroud of secrecy at the queens campus, though. i would like to know about the financial aid packages being offered at st. paul's. do they offer scholarships, work-commitment programs with their hospital affiliates, or just student loans / fafsa and nys tap grants? are you in the eve or day program? did you have to repeat old science and math courses as part of the prereq? i am cash-strapped right now but is willing to take on friendly loan-debt from family and relatives to pay for school. i really want this. i am focused and ready for nursing school. please give me your unique insight. thxs.

St. Paul's School of Nursing - Fall 2010 Acceptance
These posts are so helpful to prospective St. Paul's students. I just received my qualification letter for admission on Friday, 5/28/10. It is now asking that I have to take a urine drug test and pay for a background check ($65). I also have to arrange to send a deposit ($500) for classes by the end of June 2010. I am concerned with financial aid---loans, work commitment contracts from affiliated hospitals, as well as class schedules (day and evening). I work part-time now and need to know the financial part of the admissions process. Can anyone give me some insight into their financial aid package?

St Pauls School of Nursing 2010 Acceptance
Hello OSuro, I received my qualification letter for Admissions on Friday, 5/28/10. However, it is not an acceptance letter. You are accepted once your urine drug test and background check are reviewed and approved. I do not know what they are looking for in the background check. Someone told me that you are okay if you do not have anything pending against you or if you do not have any felonies. The clinical sites are asking all students to be free of drugs and felonies now. I am in the process of arranging my lab and deposit of $500 right now. I would like to get more info on financial aid and class scheduling for the Fall 2010 semester. I do not know if I will get in the day or evening session yet.
