  1. Awesome post alnewsome! That sure sounds like the place to be if you're in the medical or health field in Georgia. I've been doing some research on Augusta itself and it sounds like a nice place. I didn't know they had that many hospitals though. I noticed that you didn't mention MCG having a CVICU, do they not have one? I'm thinking because of that, university hospital might be the place for me. My plan is to work in a CVICU. Despite that I think all the hospital you describe sound great. Thanks for you reply.
  2. According to most of the research I've been doing, Augusta GA seem to be a medical hotbed in Georgia. Anyone one live or work in Augusta as a nurse; how are the hospitals in Augusta?. I'm looking to get great experience in the ICU, but I don't really wanna work in Atlanta.
  3. I wrote a ten page english paper about this very subject a couple of semesters ago. Needless to say according to my research, there are some stigmas but the benefits are just as prevalent as well.
  4. 29 is young as hell, I know 40 yr olds who just started med school and we all know how long that takes to complete.
  5. I recorded my lecture, that way I can go back and listen to the lecture along with the textbook and the notes from class. My lowest exam score was a 98%, that was A&P1, gonna be taking A&P2 in the fall.
  6. Off course Crnas can attest to this better than I can, but a few Crnas have told me that the schedule depends on where you work. I heard some pretty cush schedules and some brutal ones.
