Hi everyone! I'll be starting at Rush in the GEM program in a few weeks! Congratulations to others who made it and good luck to future applicants! I have a couple questions to ask new and old GEM students.. Does anyone know if scholarship money reduces loans? Or does it reduce grant money first?? These loans are scaring me a little...hope it's worth it! If anyone is looking for a roommate, mine is moving out August 1st and I'll need another one! I live in Lincoln Square which is about a 20-30 minute commute depending on traffic, so I'm thinking of moving closer to Rush when my lease runs out (also Aug. 1st.). Especially if classes/clinicals require me to drive down there every day of the week! I heard some classes are online though.. Rent here is $1500 for a two bedroom plus den. Anyway, if anyone is interested, let me know! Can't wait to meet everyone. :)
