Hi ~ So FINALLY I am done with everything that I could do. I will know by March 5th whether I am accepted or not. My interview was around 25-30mins with the director of GEM program. He asked me why nursing? My Strengh for nursing? how do i do under stress? What do I do with the situation that I am not a native speaker? What do you think nurses do? and if I applied any other school? It was kinda quick interview, and I think I did okay.:heartbeat I was told that the final decision will be made by March 5th Friday by e-mail.. Hope for the best all~~~~

Did you have any presentation session before your interview? They asked me to come one and half hour before my interview time.

Finally I will do my interview with Rush on the next week. Do you have any advice for me? How many professor did interview you? How long did it take? What kind of questions did they ask? if you dont mind can you advise specifically? I am getting nervous time goes by...:redpinkhe :redbeathe :heartbeat Any advice will be greatly appreciated!! Btw, How was your interview go? did they contact you after your interview?

No not yet. I called them last week, and found that the admission committee will meet on Feb 3rd. So I am just waiting.. How was your interview? Any special note or advice for us? did they tell you their preference? Hope you did well and get good news soon!!!:)

Hello Nursechiney, I am sure GPA is important; however, They are also give you big points as you have great passion toward to health care field. Your pre-req GPA is still fine, so no worry. Be yourself and positive!!!

Thank you for your infomation!! You must be really nervous and excited~ I am sure you will be just fine. I've been working as an Nursing care technician for about 2years - part timer. I changed my career field into halth care 2007. I graduated LONG time ago~~hahaha..I came from south-korea 9years ago and have my bachelor in law...yeah..totally different field, right? My pre-requisites GPA is 3.85. btw, Are you an nurse?? Good Luck! I heard if you get a call for interview means you'd passed 1st screening test and almost positively accepted, so be proud of yourself and relax!!:yelclap:

They postponed the date to contact selected applicants for an interview from 15th to 20th. Yeah, there are many more applicants this year, and much more competitive!!

Hello Stepherbug1, I just talked to Rush admission for GEM. They are still reviewing all applications. Since the admission process is no longer rolling admission, they waited until Jan. 2nd and started reviewing on this week . They will start sending a letter and a call for an interview. (This part isn't 100% sure. They called for a interview for last semester though as per many posting) I will also let all you know once I have any update. If anyone has any, please let me know, too.
