In my state the Esthetics program is 600hrs and of course you would want to take additional classes like microderm, oxygen, etc. The more you know the easier it will be to land an interview without having connections. My interest is medical cosmetics, so I'm hoping that becoming an RN will make me more desireable. I honestly don't see why it wouldn't, but I could be wrong. I'm still doing my research, but so far it doesn't seem like such a bad choice. I know that being just an esthetician will be a huge pay cut for me, so either I continue to follow through with what I've always wanted to do or go back to finance. Hopefully someone with helpful information can shed light on this subject.
