Henry Ford Community College
I have just finished my prereqs at HFCC for a BSN program. I had considered applying to HFCC, but I have heard all about their waiting list. I don't want to discourage you, but I think Fall 2004 admission is already set. I hope all goes well for you.

Salute to the BLUE
I am so glad that you've found my thread. Please do let everyone know that their work is greatly appreciated. Perhaps you did take care of my son and I. I had quite a few nurses during our 2 and a half day stay last August [the day after The Blackout:uhoh3: ] Once again, thank you to you and the rest of the nursing staff for doing such a wonderful job. P.S. Hopefully I will be starting the nursing program @ EMU in Fall '04.:)

Emu
Just wondering if there are any Eastern Michigan University BSN students out there. I will be transferring there in the spring and will hopefully begin the nursing program Fall '04, if not, then '05. How do you like the program? Anything or anyone to look out for? Thanks.:)

Salute to the BLUE
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank those who inspired me to start my nursing education. And, that would be the L&D/PP nursing staff at the University of Michigan Hospital. They made all the difference in the world when I had my son 7 months ago. Not only will I remember them because they were present at such a special event in my life, but for the suerb care they gave me. To the all of the nurses at the UofM L&D/PP floor, I salute you.:) :) Perhaps, one day I will have the privilege of working with you. M GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!

Unruly Patients
I am a pre-nursing student and I have browsing this website. (It's fantastic!) However, I came upon a thread regarding your most "icky" situations. I was mortified when I read about the old man who relieved his sexual byproduct on the face of a poor, unsuspecting young girl. Then I though to myself, 'what could you do to show an unacceptingly rude patient that you don't bite, or do anything else for that matter, the hand that "feeds" you?' Within ethical realms of course. My first instinct would be to grab the biggest Foley I could find. If you have any stories reguarding sweet, subtle justice...please share.
