Yeah! Congratulations roxy! So glad you finally got the good news. I received my actual license in the mail last week as well as an RN certificate that I guess could be framed. It's hard to believe we are done and will always have that without having to take another NCLEX! So again....congratulations.

I feel as if I just won an academy award! I did what I have been doing every day for almost five weeks. Checking the ca brn for my name. And today there I was! Me, finally the wait is over. I am so happy. I just want to thank God for seeing me through this and everyone on this site. Coming on here and reading about all of the success of the PVT really calmed my nerves. To all of those waiting I wish you luck and am happy to say PVT is 100% true!

Roxy- When I call the direct number I automatically push zero to bypass listening to all of the options and it takes me to an operator. I have had someone different each day I called. The brn DID receive my first set of transcripts on April 6 but they were incomplete from my school so the brn told me the quickest way for them to receive another set was to have them overnight delivered to their actual physical address; not the po box. My school did that may 27. Then my school mailed another set to the po box last Friday. I never asked to speak to a supervisor, but after explaining all of this, they said **** was the supervisor that would be in charge of my file. I will say that I always apologized for having to call because I know they are inundated with work and I gushed my thanks to **** for helping me so much. My goal was to win her over with kindness instead of releasing my frustration on her, which I knew wouldn't help me anyway. When did your school send out your transcripts?

i called the ca brn today and they still did not have my transcripts so they sent me through to the supervisor. she put me on hold and located them, said she would process them today! yeah today! anyway....someone tell me what you think about what she said to me.. me: so do i still have to wait 2 weeks from now to get a letter to tell me what my results are from by boards? supervisor: yes. or you can go online to the brn website to see when a permanent license has been issued. me: oh. really?ok. (like i was unaware that this site exists...it isnt like i have been checking it every single day at 6am since i took my boards on may6!) okay.....so am i reading too much into this? would she really direct me to the website to check if she knows i failed and will never find my name there? was she tipping me off that i passed? maybe she does not even know if i passed or failed? omg i am driving myself crazy again!!!! anyway..heres to good pop-ups and an answer on the way soon (i hope)

Yeah! thats great news for all of us that are still waiting. Ca bon really stinks! Here is to the good pop-up and the truth of the pvt!:redbeathe:yeah:

Thank you for sharing your experience with those of us who are waiting and praying that the PVT works. The fact that you shared that you took the boards 3 times and PVT worked everytime gives us all hope to believe in it. Thank you so much for sharing. Some people are too embarrassed to admit they didn't pass on previous attempts and I really respect your courage and selflessness in sharing to help others. Thank you soooo much!:):)

This is so awful roxy! Where do you work? Is there any other positions that you could work for a few weeks until this is all taken care of? I tell you that I soooo feel your pain. Do you have a cna or lvn license you can work under? I completely agree that the people at the brn are not helpful. It's the same useless answers. Can't so anything until we get your transcripts and your file is complete. This sucks so bad and I am stressed wondering if I even passed. And now the brn is closed tomorrow so this is bad. Will your supervisor work with you at all? Sorry that I keep jumping.back and forth between feeling sorry for myself and sorry for you but we are kind of stuck I:uhoh3:n similar situations.

Ok so now I am Freaking out a little. I got the good pop-up but my transcripts are not complete. Has anyone heard that the PVT does not work if your file is incomplete? I read this on another site . Going crazy in cali

Well my school sent transcripts in march when I graduated but they left out my degree and the type of program I was in so even though I tested may 6 I didn't find out until last Tue about this. Wed my school was supposed to overnight the transcripts. Argggg. I'm having a nervous breakdown! Anyone near Sacramento and want to go for a drink? Lol. Ok. I'm not really laughing....mote like about to cry. And actually Ben n jerrys sounds much better than a drink. Oh the waiting.....

I called the bon and was told they still don't have my transcripts and once they do it will be 2 weeks before they are processed into my file. I m dying here

MCT- Two of my classmates whose files were complete took the test on may 18 and their names were on ca bon for rn on may 20 When did you test? Did u get the pop-up? If it has been over a week I suggest you call the bon and make sure your file is complete

Thank you emt2 Just reading everyone's successbrings me some comfort but I do not want to get my hopes up too much in the PVT because for some crazy chance it doesn't work I will be crushed and feel foolish. I did see one person on this site who said they got the good pop-up and then failed so.....

I was told ca is the slowest state for results. I took my Nclex may 6 but just found out last week that my transcripts are incomplete so I feel like I'm starting from scratch.

Mine was on may 6 Roel in ca. Still waiting and praying PVT works for me.

Well I have been reading and taking comfort in this site since I took my RN Nclex on May 6. I checked the bon site daily and my name was never there. I never received a letter either. Of course I left the test feeling like I had failed. Over 150 q and a lot of SATA. I called last Wednesday and was told my transcripts were incomplete and had to be resent. My school was supposed to overnight them but with the holiday I have no idea how much longer I could be waiting. I did the PVT and get the good pop-up . I want so much to believe in it because I am truly becoming depressed over all of this. We were only a class of 5 students and all of the others have now passed and are celebrating with a party next weekend. How can I even go when I can't sleep or think of anything but this? On a brighter note, I know if I fail I can retake it, life will go on....its the waiting and being in limbo that I cannot take. BTW I am from ca. Thanks for listening to me vent and here is to hoping PVT really truly works!

Sorry. I meant all the PPS assessments. My phone has auto spell check so it changed what I wrote. Lol.

My suggestion is to do alp the pas assessments first, or any that will have a negative financial impact of they are late. I have found the best way to speed through several assessments is to make yourself a worksheet where you list your ard,.window of observation, a place for meds, wounds, etc. Then place all the sheets In a stack in ascending order of room number so you can go through the mar, tar, adls, and such all at once to save time. Next visit the residents one at a time and then interview the staff. Grouping tasks together like this can really speed things up. Just make sure to take good notes and if you do all of the above, it should should increase your productivity significantly. Good luck!
