I am one of those people that my recruiter told nothing to. He just told me that we will have lots of class time and will have to pass the PT and basically a piece of cake.....

yeah for the 1st year I thought I was going to quit bc of that type of nurses... When they tell you that nurses eat their young....it is so true. I do think it is worse in the units though..... Thanks to everyone on this site for talking about things and answering questions it has helped me out

mid- yeah Im excited you are going before me ha.....Please when you get out hit the message board back up and let us know how it was. Im glad your ICU as well. I was also scared about getting to a new ICU and having to deal with the ICU attuides if you know what I mean. I hear that it is not like that at all in the military and Im so glad for that. Im excited the nurse in the military act as a familly......Sorry I have had to work in a tuff crowd of nurses in the ICU

Sorry for starting a new thread I think I just got tired of searching thur stuff..... Spooky cat if you ask to join on the right you can see where is says cancel request. That means you just have to wait till they accept you. It happened to me the other day when I tried too.

I think my requirement is like 31 push ups for my age (28). Which I can only do like 5. Yes I know that is sad. Would you agree that the almo heights area is a good place to look for housing? Or where?

hello everyone! I am not leaving in May. I am leaving in Aug. I am glad to hear that all of you all are having the same problems as I am having. I am freaking out that I cant do all of my push ups. I have no problem with the run or the sit ups. I have heard the 1st week of COT is horrible. I live in Arkansas and will be driving to Maxwell then I will be stationed in San Antoino. For anyone that is stationed at lackland....is that where I will be? I am a ICU nurse. I thought they had moved all the inpatient stuff to Brooks. I was just trying to look for places to live at prior to me leaving for COT.
