  1. You don't need much the first day, pens paper a LARGE binder for all the paperwork. I bought a wheel type book bag which came in handy. I recommend the Littman stethoscope but you really don't need it the first day. Also, lots of 3x5 cards for studying and note taking. Good luck, study hard.......................Jackie
  2. I have been in my program for 4 months now and let me tell you it is challenging; lots of studying, tests, tons of information to absorb in a very short time. My best advice to you is read the chapter before you get to class then during the lecture you will comprehend what the instructor is teaching. I hope you have a good instructor, that makes a world of difference. :)
  3. First week, lots of info, lots of homework and feel so tired! 2 tests tomorrow. hope i have studied the right material
  4. I will be starting my first day at Warren County Vo Tech in NJ. It is a full-time 1 year program Mon-Fri from 3pm to 10pm. Congrats to all LPN students for making it this far; I didn't realise it was so hard to get in! Nervous but also can't wait to get started.
  5. Tomorrow is my first day of LPN school after 20+ years in the insurance industry. I am nervous but excited to begin a new career after all these years. I hope the younger students don't feel I am too old to keep up with them! Anxious but also looking forward to a rewarding year. Are there any other "mature" students out there?
