Posting pictures to facebook
Several years ago, unfortunately there were photos of me spread eagle pushing out my son rolling down the conveyor in Wally world photocenter for all to see.:angthts: I wanted the pics developed quickly and the hubs just wasn't thinking. This of course was before the digital revolution. I wanted to crawl under a rock and die. At the very least never shop there again.

Failure rate of CRNA students
Perhaps I am not a good searcher but I am wondering if anyone knows where I can find statistics on failure rates. Or is it that failure is not an option? That is how I personally feel. I am still in my ADN program. I am older than my classmates and make good grades despite having more hurdles than most. So anyway, I am doing my due diligence and studying up on my top 3 schools and wondered how I could find out how many students are actually applying, getting in, and graduating? Those schools are University of Cincinnati Trover/Murray State Mountain State University

Anyone tried a new ereader for nursing classes?
I know. I have that. I was more curious if all the text books were available and how the format of an e reader was working out versus lugging traditional books.

Anyone tried a new ereader for nursing classes?
I was just curious if anyone has tried one of them for class? There are so many now to choose from with the Nook, iPad, and Kindle. Has anyone considered it and been able to find your text books? I am going to try I think. I got a look at my textbook list. The school bookstore is asking almost $300 just for an iPod Touch ( I already have an iPhone so that is just dumb) and some majorly overpriced books and apps. All told the total was almost $1600 going that route so I figured nothing to lose really and I may actually save a few bucks AND wind up with nifty new gadget. I would love to hear what anyone's experiences are. Sorta scared and excited. I have been waiting a bit to get into the 2 year program here. Glad it is here and the hard work has paid off thus far. Seems sort of surreal. Only now getting started though. I feel like I am just now sitting down and rolling up my sleeves!

Failure of non-required classes 5 years ago?
What I did was declared Academic bankruptcy. You may want to check into this. Basically what it is- Once you complete a new semester, you can declare academic bankruptcy to have your old classes basically wiped. You still keep any credit earned but the grades are not used in GPA calculations. My school you had to be out for at least 2 years. You may want to check if your school offers it. How it helped with the nursing program is that it has a GPA requirement. I have been accepted for this fall into the ADN program. I am still doing prereqs now and scared to death I am going to screw it up somehow.
